Bethel University's academic year runs on a Semester System as follows:

First Semester: September – December

Summer Semester: January - April

Second Semester: May - August

Requirements

Bethel University's academic year runs on a Semester System as follows:

In order to be admitted into any of the degree programs, one must have a full Grade 12 certificate with minimum five “O” level credits or better which must include English Language or a Zambian Language. 

A major in Business studies requires Mathematics while a major in a Science requires a Science subject in addition to Mathematics.

Boarding

Accommodation is provided on campus for full time and Block Release Students.

Students are expected to to provide their own bedding. Currently there are no facilities for students who are married.

Vegetarian meals are served in the cafeteria.

Application Procedure

1. Request for application forms from the Registrar's Office.

2. Fill it in.

3. Attach your academic transcripts, two passportsize photos and recommendation letters to the application form and

4. Forward it to the Registrar's Office.

English Proficiency

Since English is the medium of instruction, applicants must show proficiency in English to be able to operate at University level.

Applicants may be required to have a score of at least 550 on TOEFL or if they are from a non –English speaking country, they may enroll in the program of 'English as a Second Language” which the university offers.

Character qualifications

Bethel University management expects its students to show exemplary moral conduct by complying with its Christian principles, values and standards.

Prospective students must be willing to accept and abide with the moral and ethical standards of the Christian faith as understood by the Adventist Christian.
